Obuasa "Bosco" Djabatey
Co Founder & Head of Partnership Development
Bosco, having had a keen interest in the power of local business to empower and support the community, learned under Ian Parkes (CEO of the East London Business Alliance, ELBA). Bosco sat on the youth board, providing suggestions to the executive branch regarding youth unemployment for ELBA’s ‘Parity project,’ which sought to increase employability among ethnic minorities in inner-city London. Bosco then formally began to oversee the stakeholder management operation for Model Westminster, a social enterprise that seeks to increase meaningful political participation among young people. For 2 years, Bosco helped to establish relationships with key individuals in the community, such as think tanks and charities, during which time he also dedicated his time to studying the adverse effects of social and economic disparity in London and has written articles on policies such as the living wage and interest rates in the UK for Model Westminster.
